On a press conference on Tuesday the head of The Independent High Electoral Commission Ali Qadir has declared the number of political entities that take part in upcoming Kurdistan Parliament election.

He also added that the total number is 42 blocs but due to the lack of legall conditions only 38 blocs accepted.
 

The seats of Kurdistan Parliament include 111 seats according to the head of The Independent High Electoral Commission it has been divided as follow:

-First: the quota of the Armenian component is 1 seat and 4 political entities compete for

-Second: the quota of components of Assyrian, cheldanean and sryan has 5 seats and 4 political entities compete for.

-Third: the quota of Turkmen is 5 seats and 3 political entities compete for

-Fourth: the rest of the seats are 100 that 31 political entities compete for  

According to census of the High Electoral Commission that recently conducted says the population of  Kurdistan is 4,382291 millions people, in this ratio  2,518229 millions have right to vote.
